William DeMarco Obituary

William Graham DeMarco, age 19, of Boxford, died Thursday, June 11, 2026, in a car accident in Topsfield. He is the son of John and Josilyn (Graham) DeMarco, loving brother to Samantha DeMarco, and beloved cousin of Amiyah McCullough.

Born in Beverly on July 9, 2006, he lived in Boxford for his entire life, and attended Harry Lee Cole School and Spofford Pond School. William was a proud graduate of Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School, Class of 2024. Since graduation, Will has been employed as a production line associate at Richardson’s Dairy, where he made many friends and loved being part of the Richardson’s tradition.

William was a talented drummer, a fledgling guitar player, and loved all kinds of music. He was creative, hilarious, silly, and sweet, and an incredibly loving, kind, and loyal friend. His laugh was big, loud, goofy, and contagious. William loved fishing, his Xbox, LEGOs, and cars; he had an encyclopedic knowledge of all types of cars. His passion for them was evident when he would happily talk about cars to anyone who would listen, and would light up with joy when talking about the BMW M5 he bought himself and loved to drive. He was especially delighted that his 2006 dream car was “born” the same year as he was. William was a bear of a boy, with a huge heart. There is no earthly way to encapsulate William’s beautiful soul in so few words, but there is comfort in knowing he is loved by so many people.

Besides his parents, sister, and cousin, he is survived by his aunt Lisa DeMarco of Waltham; his grandparents Richard and Sherrill Graham of Peabody and Bryant Pond, ME; his cousins Jared Graham, Mackenzie Eppinger, Kyla MacDonald, and Kyla’s fiancé, Noah Binette; his longtime girlfriend Emma Smith; and a multitude of wonderful friends and family. William was predeceased by his grandparents John and Ada DeMarco of Lynn, his aunt Kelly (Graham) MacDonald of Peabody, and his cousin Eric Eppinger of Peabody.

Friends and family are respectfully invited to Mackey Funeral Home in Middleton to celebrate and remember William’s life. Visitation with the family will be Friday, June 19, from 4-8pm, with a prayer service on Saturday, June 20, at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Boxford Athletic Association, PO Box 100, Boxford, MA 01921, where a scholarship will be created to honor him.
