Theresa Davie Obituary

Theresa "Terri" Davie, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on December 13, 2024, surrounded by her family at her home in Seabrook, NH. Born on August 23, 1948, in Lynn, MA, Terri was the cherished daughter of the late Francis and Catherine Curran and the beloved sister to Joanna Cameron, Maureen Crawford, and the late Thomas Curran.

Terri's warm presence and thoughtful nature were the cornerstones of her life. She was a dedicated wife to Alexander Davie III with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. She was a loving mother to her children, Alex Davie and his wife Emily, Jon Davie and his wife Robin, and Jenn Bernhard and her husband Jim. Terri's joy was multiplied with the arrival of each grandchild: Jon Davie, Olivia DiStefano, Aidan Davie, Devyn, Haylee and Madison Bernhard.and great grandchild Cora Jordan. Her role as a grandmother and great grandmother was one she cherished deeply, imparting wisdom, laughter, and countless memories that her grandchildren will carry with them forever.

A graduate of her local high school, Terri went on to become a dedicated school bus driver, ensuring the safety of the community's children during her own children's formative years. Later, she contributed a remarkable 12 years of service to the Middleton Electric Light Department. Even in retirement, Terri's passion for serving others continued as she returned to driving a bus, providing safe passage and warm smiles to all who boarded.

Terri's life was a rich tapestry of interests and passions. The beach was her sanctuary, where she found peace in the rhythm of the waves and joy in the warmth of the sun. Her hands were rarely still, as she was always immersed in sewing and crafts, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her meticulous attention to detail and her creative spirit. Terri's love for the outdoors extended to the golf course, where she enjoyed the camaraderie and challenge of the game. In winter, she embraced the beauty of the season through snowshoeing, exploring the serene landscapes with her characteristic zest for life.

Those who knew Terri will remember her as the epitome of love, thoughtfulness, and selflessness. Her unwavering support and generosity touched the lives of many, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Terri's legacy is one of unconditional love, a life lived with purpose, and the countless lives she enriched simply by being herself.

As we bid farewell to Terri, we hold tight to the memories that comfort us and the lessons she taught through her example. Her spirit will continue to guide us, and her love will remain a guiding light in the lives of her family and friends. Terri's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the enduring strength of family bonds.
Theresa "Terri" Davie will be profoundly missed, but her warmth and grace will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
