Theodore W. Crawford of Danvers, formerly of Hanover, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Ted was born on August 7, 1930, son of the late Harry and Ruth (Goulding) Crawford.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War.
Ted worked for Armstrong Industries in Braintree for 35 years.
He is predeceased by his wife Elizabeth Crawford, brothers, Richard and Robert and his sister-in-laws Carol Morrison, Adrienne McElroy, Cecilia O’Hanley and Julie Gallahue. He graduated from Rockland High School. He is survived by his sister-in-law Judy Crawford of Hanson, James Gallahue of Plymouth and Robert Morrison of Derry, NH and Ted’s four children Ted Crawford, Jr. and his wife Karen of Townsend, Gail Mulready and her husband John of Carver, Tim Crawford and his wife Cathy of Gloucester and Lisa D’Orlando and her husband Tony of Danvers and nine grandchildren, Brendan, and Erin Crawford, Jenna and Sean Mulready, Emily Jellerson and her wife Stacey, Michael Jellerson, Dylan Crawford, Paul and Erik D’Orlando and two great grandchildren Harper and Finn Jellerson.
The family would like to thank the staff of Lahey Health for their care provided to Ted.
At Ted’s request there will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, December 5th starting at 1:00 pm at the American Legion Hall 104 King Street Hanover, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Company 2 Heroes 18 Beach Road Gloucester, MA 01930. Company 2 Heroes
