Thelma (Olsen) Corkum

Thelma (Olsen) Corkum, 96, of Peabody passed away peacefully after a short illness on Tuesday October 19, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Everett and was the daughter of the late Charles N. and Mary A. (McPhee) Olsen.  She was also the widow of Robert W. Corkum who shared 30 years of marriage.

Thelma was raised and educated in Everett before moving to Peabody.  She was a devoted homemaker, mother and grandmother to her beloved grandchildren.  Thelma enjoyed traveling with her family and celebrating holidays with the family and friends.

She Is survived by her daughters Patricia Corkum Robichaud and Joan LeBlanc and her 3 grandchildren, Robert LeBlanc, Ashley LeBlanc and Stephen Schankweiler.  She was predeceased by her daughters Roberta Schankweiler, and Jean Corkum.

Her visiting hours will take place on Friday Oct. 22, from 10-11 am at Mackey Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St. (Rte.114), Middleton, MA. With her Funeral Service to follow at 11 am. Burial will follow the services at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
