Suzanne D. Thomas passed away, surrounded by love, at the age of 76, on September 25, 2024. She was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will forever be missed by those she loved.
She was born to Roger and Louise Dupee on October 25, 1947. Suzanne spent much of her life as a devoted teacher in Hamilton, MA, passing on her love for learning and reading to the students she taught. In her retired years, she was a proud member of the Wenham Housing Authority board.
Suzanne will be remembered for her generosity, kind heart, creativity and intelligence. Her passion for knitting and crocheting inspired her to donate hats, blankets, scarves and granny squares to local and national charities to give to people in need. Suzanne loved to read and could often be found recommending new books to family and friends. Suzanne also enjoyed spending her time cooking and baking recipes, both new and old.
She is survived by her son Peter Thomas and his wife Tracey, her granddaughter Mariah Thomas and her fiancé Domenic Ferraro, two grandsons Steven and Kyle Pantos, her sister Jean Ciarametaro and her husband Peter, and a niece and nephew Kate and Peter and their families. She also leaves behind her great friends Linda Preston, Marty and Arthur Carr, Denise Sullivan, Paula Mountain and Carol Kirby. Suzanne is also survived by her son Jay Thomas and his wife Lauren.
