Russell Draper Obituary

On a warm sunny October morning, October 24th, 2020, our loving husband and son Russell Draper passed away after a long fierce battle with cancer. He left this world peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones during the last hours of his life.

Russell was born on July 2nd, 1979 in Danvers, MA to Ron and Rhonda Draper. Since his childhood, Russ was interested in technology, computers, and sci-fi. The tech skills he learned from his Father prepared a base for his successful career in Information Technology. The practical mindset he learned from his Mother prepared him for his journey of life.

He was a self-made genius and a problem-solver. He read a lot and was always interested in figuring out how things work. He started his own IT company Russell Draper & Associates, Inc. at the age of 26. Since then, he was helping businesses in Massachusetts and New York grow and prosper. He was devoted to his job and loved it very much. He enjoyed solving complicated problems and made it look so easy.

He was a caring and loyal friend. He worked hard to organize parties for his friends and made sure everyone was having a good time. He purchased a vacation house in Maine so that he could invite his family and friends and spend time together skiing, snowmobiling, canoeing down the river, and playing board games, chatting, and sharing a great time. Those times will be remembered with love and joy.

But most of all, Russ will be remembered as a loving and loyal husband and son. His family was always a priority to him. He was so happy when his family got together and shared time with each other. He loved spending holidays with his family, and especially he loved Christmas. It was particularly important to him to get all his family for Christmas and bring joy and laughter to other people.

He was a loving and caring husband. He loved traveling with his wife around the globe. Together, they went on a trip around the US for 3 months in an RV. It was a real adventure, and he was thrilled to do that. He loved nature and mountains, he loved exploring the wilderness. He supported and protected his wife in all the troubles life would bring them until the last days of his life.

Russ survived by his father, Ron, his mother, Rhonda, his wife, Marina, and his Aunt and Uncle, Patricia and Alan. He will forever stay in our hearts and will be deeply missed.
