Ronald A Grenier, 82, of South Berwick, ME, died Sunday August 29th 2021, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Ronald was survived by his wife Marylin E. (Ciosek) Grenier with whom he just shared his 58th wedding anniversary. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Scott Grenier and his wife Collete of South Berwick ME and his daughter Heidi and her husband Dan Labrecque of Gloucester, MA, and his five grandchildren Ashley, Ronnie, and Andrew Grenier and Tim and Hayley Labrecque. Ronald was born and raised in Salem, MA. He was honorably discharged from the US Marine Corps after serving three years of active duty. In his early years, he worked as an interior painter and wallpaper hanger. He later owned and operated a successful company Reinerg Construction for many years.
Following his retirement, Ronald settled in South Berwick ME. Some of Ronald’s greatest enjoyment were vacationing in Aruba, Myrtle Beach, and the Balsams Resort in Colebrook, NH. He enjoyed spending his winters skiing at J. Peak resort while he enjoyed his summers at home in York Beach with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Ronald was always up for a good laugh, a couple of scratch tickets, or taking a weekend trip to Foxwoods with his wife and lifelong friend, Marilyn Grenier. His sense of humor and love will be missed forever.
He was the son of the late Ronaldo and Eva Grenier and he leaves two brothers: George of Peabody and Edward of Middleton. he was predeceased by his siblings, Estelle Grenier, Lucille Albert, Raymond Grenier, Peter Grenier
Services will be held on Tuesday, Sep. 7th, Visitation from 10 am-1130am followed by a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Agnes Parish, Middleton, at 12 Noon. Burial, with Military honors at Oakdale Cemetery.
