Robert W Short

Robert W. Short, 59, of Beverly, died unexpectedly on Friday, December 24th. The son of Bruce and Carol (Staudinger), he was born in Lynn. He is survived by his wife, Lisa M. (Lovasco) Short with whom he shared 28 years of marriage. Robert graduated from Beverly High School and Merrimack College where he went on to work in marketing and graphic design.

Robert was a family man who enjoyed spending time playing video games with his kids and board games with his parents. He also looked forward to Sunday football and all the great food that came with it, as well as cookouts in the summer. Robert encouraged the artistic abilities of his children and was very proud of their accomplishments in both high school and college.

Besides his wife, Lisa, and his mother Carol, Robert leaves behind his children, Robert Jr., Christian, and Aja of Beverly. He is also survived by his sister, Donna Baker, her husband Kevin, and nephews Joshua and Matthew of Leominster, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Robert is predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Short and his father, Bruce Short.

A memorial service will be held privately at the request of the family.
