Robert F. Patterson

Robert F. Patterson (79), known as “Bob” to his loved ones, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2023. Born in and a longtime resident of Lynn, MA. He was the husband of 40 years to the late Patricia A. (McDonald) Patterson and a loving father to his five children: Tony, Christine (Stoner), James, Matthew and Andrew. His joy was multiplied by his five cherished grandchildren, Jameson, Mason, Scarlett, Theodore, and Olive of whom he loved as was so proud.

Bob attended Lynn Classical High School and worked as a technician in the aircraft engine division of General Electric. He retired from GE after 40 years of service and enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Bob was predeceased by his parents Walter and Margaret (Semonilli) and five brothers: Walter, Guy, John, Paul, and Wayne.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday August 31, from 4-6 PM at Mackey Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St. (Rt. 114), Middleton, MA. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 6 pm.
