Rita R. LaForge (Blanchette) L'Italien

The family of Rita Rose L'Italien is sad to announce her passing after a sudden illness on August 2, 2013 in Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was predeceased by her first husband Paul J. LaForge and her second husband Harold L'Italien. Rita was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Eliza Blanchette ( Castonguay). Rita was a lifelong resident of Danvers. She worked for over thirty year at GTE Sylvania on Sylvan Street in Danvers. Rita's life revolved around her entire family. She enjoyed family camping trips and traveling around the country in her RV. Some of her other hobbies included Square Dancing with the Riverside Squares, sewing and cooking for her family. She is survived by her daughters Michelle Barker and her husband Rick of Bradford; Ann Marie LaForge of Salem; her sons, Ron LaForge and his wife Pam of Peabody; and Dan LaForge and his wife Lisa of Essex. Her six grand-children, Shelby Barker, Dean Barker, Andrew LaForge, Stephan LaForge, David LaForge, and Victoria LaForge. In addition to her husbands and parents, Rita was preceded in death by her siblings, Camille Blanchette, Oscar Blanchette, Roger Blanchette, Larry Blanchette, Philip Blanchette, and Simone L'Italien.
