Richard P. Kenny Sr.

Richard P. Kenny Sr, 86 of Danvers, MA died peacefully on August, 3rd. Son of the late Francis and Esther Kenny of Lynn, MA. Beloved husband of the late  Martha Kenny of Danvers; and loving husband to Mary Joan Kenny.  Richard is survived by his son Richard Kenny Jr. and his wife Michelle of Danvers; his daughter Susan Kenny Avola of Danvers; and his daughter Dr. Julie Kenny Calzini and husband Stephen Calzini of Ipswich.  He also was the proud grandfather of Kaitlyn Kenny St. Pierre, Meghan Kenny, Shannon Kenny, Robert Avola, Carmen Avola, Martha Rose Avola, John Calzini and Tess Calzini.  He was the great grandfather of Layla and Nathan St. Pierre.
Richard was born and raised in Lynn, MA. He was a proud alumnus of St. Mary's School.  He attended both Northeastern University and Carnegie Mellon. He served in the US Army and later owned Access Electronics Management.
Richard was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed sailing, cars and brown bread and hot dogs. He loved to travel and enjoyed time with friends.
Services will be held Monday morning at St. Richard Parish, Forest St., in Danvers. 

Visiting hours will be Monday morning at St. Richard Parish, Forest St., Danvers, from 9 am-10 am. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately following at 10am.
