Priscilla Wallace Obituary

Priscilla E. Wallace, affectionately known to friends and family as Pat, passed away peacefully on the 2nd of February, 2026, at the age of 98. Born on July 27, 1927, in Beverly, Massachusetts, Pat's life was marked by her adventurous spirit, generous heart, and analytical mind.

Pat grew up in Beverly, where she completed her high school education, setting a strong foundation for the varied career that would follow. Her work life was characterized by dedication and versatility, having contributed her talents to several companies over the years. She began her career as a waitress, where her warm demeanor and sharp wit made her a favorite among patrons. She later took on roles as an assembler, first at Bomac and then at Sylvania, where her analytical skills were greatly valued. Pat's career journey eventually led her to become a computer operator at the Salem Registry of Deeds, a position she held with distinction until her retirement.

Outside of work, Pat's passions were as diverse as her career. She had a love for the tranquility of gardening, the thrill of travel, and the cultural enrichment of opera. Pat also had an appreciation for the storytelling of country music, often being heard humming along to the tunes of her favorite artists. Her garden was a testament to her patience and care, a place of beauty that brought joy to all who visited. Pat's generosity knew no bounds. She was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a word of encouragement. Her adventurous nature saw her exploring new places and experiences well into her later years, always with a sense of wonder and excitement. Family was the cornerstone of Pat's life.

She is survived by her loving children: Cynthia Defeo, John Richards, Linda Richards, Robert Smith, and Susan Cosimelli. Pat was predeceased by her daughter, Cara Coddens. Her role as a mother was one she cherished deeply, and her guidance and love shaped the lives of her children in countless ways. In her final years, Pat faced the challenges of dementia with the same grace and strength that she carried throughout her life. She passed away in North Andover, Massachusetts, surrounded by the love of her family. Pat's life was a tapestry of experiences, woven together by her love for her family, her passion for her interests, and her commitment to her work. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of all who knew her. Priscilla E. Wallace's legacy is one of joy, resilience, and an enduring spirit of adventure. She will be deeply missed, but the impact of her life will continue to be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
