Peter Montllor, 69, of Scotch Plains, NJ passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 in Andover, MA.
Peter was born in Scotch Plains, NJ where he resided his entire life until moving to Massachusetts to live closer to his daughter. Peter was a graduate of Scotch Plains Fanwood High School and Emerson College. Peter was a hardworking man who spent over 25 years working tirelessly to support his family at Financial Executive International.
Peter was both an avid golfer and bowler, both of which he enjoyed coaching and playing with friends. He was a published poet and had a true passion for reading. Peter loved starting each morning with a cup of coffee, reading the newspaper, and discussing politics, often at a friend’s house.
Peter was a true family man. Peter was a loving husband of Lenore Montllor (predeceased) and proud father of his daughter Jessie Gigliotti and her husband Marc. He was a loving grampy to his three grandchildren; Addison, Jackson and Brooke of Middleton, MA. He also is survived by his his step son Tony Vazquez, brother Gregory Montllor, his sister-in-laws Terry Calabrese and Rebecca Dittrich, and his many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Peter’s life will take place at a later date when we can all gather together in person.
