Oscar Forlani, Jr. of Middleton, MA quietly passed away on January 5, 2026, at the age of 72. He was born in Boston on April 4, 1953, to the late Oscar Forlani, Sr., and Teresa Forlani
A 1972 graduate of Winthrop High School, Oscar was a man of many talents and interests. From the age of 14, he worked alongside his father at Oscar Woodworking, a cabinet-making business. He dedicated 50 years to the business until his retirement in 2014.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of over 34 years, Alyce Pace Forlani, his mother, Teresa Forlani, and his sisters, Rose Forina, Diane Barsotti, and Anna Frattaroli and her husband Filippo, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Oscar was known for his kindness, often going out of his way to help others, and for his sense of humor. His thoughtful nature touched many. Oscar was also an avid Sudoku player, finding joy and challenge in unraveling the puzzles. His love for scratch tickets was well-known among his loved ones, often bringing a sense of excitement and fun to family gatherings.
To describe Oscar is to speak of a man who was the epitome of kindness, someone who could always be counted on for a laugh or a helping hand. His legacy is one of love, craftsmanship, and a life well-lived.
Oscar's journey through life was a testament to the person he was - a kind, funny, and thoughtful man.
