Nghi Trantuan, MD

Dr. Nghi Trantuan passed away peacefully in Beverly, MA on August 2, 2022.  He was born in Lang Son, Vietnam on November 7, 1935.
He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and brother.
After earning his Doctor of Medicine from Saigon University, he served as a combat physician in Airborne Division of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam from 1964- 1968. He then served at the main Army Medical Center ( Bệnh Viện Cộng Hoà)  in Saigon until 1975.
After the fall of Saigon in 1975, he immigrated to the US with his wife and son.  He was then able to resume his medical career in the US in the fields of Anesthesia and General Medicine in Massachusetts and in Louisiana. He retired from practice in 2012.
Dr. Nghi Trantuan is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lien, his son, Khoi and daughter in-law, Hong.  Also surviving him are his favorite grandchildren Katherine and Kevin, and his 5 siblings and their families (Nhiem Tran, Thu Le, Ngo Tran, Tam Tran and Huy Duc Tran)
We will miss him very much.
