Nancy L. (Dudley) Lyon

Nancy L. (Dudley) Lyon, 63, of Danvers, passed at home after a short battle with cancer.
She was born in Chelsea, MA on 12/5/57. Wife of David Lyon Jr, mother of David A. Lyon, Steven Lyon and his wife Leanne Lyon, Christopher Lyon, grandmother to Ryleigh Lyon, sister of Judy Dudley and the late Debbie Carter. She was the daughter of the late Evelyn and Allen Dudley. Nancy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a great baker, a lover of animals, being outdoors, and she loved to travel. Planning the next trip brought her joy, whether it was to a casino or to a quiet retreat, she loved having a trip to look forward to. 
She graduated from Everett high school in 1975 and worked at Blue Cross right out of high school, later working at the Malden school system as a para where she worked with autistic children followed by jobs in retail for many years.
Nancy was fiercely protective of her family and friends, with a sharp wit and a giant heart. If you loved anyone within her orbit, she loved you. She always put others first and lead by example.
