Mildred A. Hoppich (Firobent) passed away suddenly following a long illness on March 12,2020. Mildred was a graduate of Baltimore City Hospital and received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Northshore Community College in 1970. She was employed at the former Hunt Memorial Hospital, Danvers and the former J.B. Thomas Hospital, Peabody.
She was an active member of the Danvers Garden Club and the Danvers Historical Society. Her love of music led her to become a member of the Sweet Adelines. She enjoyed every performance.
Mildred was preceeded in death by her husband of 50 years, Carl G.Hoppich.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Young and her husband Marshall of Georgetown,Massachusetts; her grandson Marshall C. Young of Indian Land, South Carolina; her sister Rose Hysick of New Jersey and her family. She will also be warmly remembered by her extended family in Virginia and Ohio.
