Matthew McHugh, 42, passed away August 27 surrounded by the loving and caring staff of Crystal Springs in Assonet, where he has resided for the past 20 years. Matthew was born in Lowell, son of the late James and Dolores (McHugh). Matthew was a very outgoing and caring individual and enjoyed spending time at his families camp at Lake Shore Park in Gilford, NH and with his many aunts and uncles who all loved and cared for him very much.

Matthew is survived by his siblings, Sharon McHugh-Stockwell, Timothy, Shaun and his fiancé Heather of Gilford, NH, and Christopher and his wife Geraldine of Inverness, FL, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Earl Stockwell.
