It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, Mark Pelletier, of Middleton, on May 12, 2026 at the age of 78. He was born on March 17, 1948, in Webster, Massachusetts, and lived a life marked by devotion to his family, his country, and to the many people whose lives he touched along the way.
Mark was the beloved husband of the late Diane M. Brooks with whom they shared 31 years of marriage. He was the son of the late Armand L. Pelletier, of Webster, and the late Mildred A. Warhurst, of Worcester. He is the father of his two wonderful sons Mark A. Pelletier, Jr, of Waltham and Alex B. Pelletier, of Lynn. He was also the brother of his late sister Karen (Bishop) Petitti, of Braintree, Massachusetts.
Mark grew up in Worcester and after graduating high school, he volunteered to enlist in the United States Army as a Moving Specialist during his time in the Vietnam War. He carried the values of military service with him long after retiring his uniform, demonstrating honor and integrity in everything he did.
Following his short military service, Mark decided to go back to school and went on to receiving multiple degrees in Associate Business Administration from Quinsigamond Community College in 1972, B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from Nichols College in 1974, and lastly his Certificate in Administration & Management from Harvard University in 1988.
Mark had built a successful career working in the government sector as a Financial Analyst for a number of companies that spanned close to 40 years before deciding to retire in December 2023.
The great loves in Mark’s life were family, friends, attending his boy’s hockey games, watching Bruins and Patriots games, creating DIY projects around the house, and keeping up with current events. Most of all, he was the happiest when surrounded by the important people that were dearest to him. His presence was enough to make everyone feel important and tell stories from what he experienced in life. We will miss him dearly.
