Marion L. (Fago) Stone

Marion Louise Stone, 78 of Middleton, MA, passed away peacefully, early Wednesday morning August 3, 2022, with family at her side. She was the adoring wife of the late William F. Stone (Middleton, MA). The two would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in August and a testament to their love and devotion to each other is reflected by the love of their six children: Marion Stone (Middleton, MA), Lisa Stone (Middleton, MA), Barbara Stone (Middleton, MA), William Stone (Ormond Beach, FL), Robert Stone (Danvers, MA) and Margaret Baker (Milford, NH), their seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. 

Marion Louise was born in Boston to parents, Earle A. Fago and Doris Effie Wright and shared a strong, loving bond with both her mother and aunt, Marion A. Wright, Doris’ twin. Marion Louise was raised and educated in the Malden and Medford area but spent much of her life in Middleton.

After retirement, Marion had more time to focus on what she was most passionate about, her family. Whether engaging in spirited and competitive games of cribbage or billiards with her late husband, William, taking long scenic drives by the local farm to see the “twins” with a loved one or embarking on a once in a lifetime trip to Europe on a cruise down the Rhine River with her eldest daughter, Marion, who shares her name, family was always at the heart of where she wanted to be and with whom she wanted to be with. 

Marion will be greatly missed by her loving family.
