Marie G. Greco

Marie passed away peacefully at the Pilgrim Nursing Home in Peabody on September 25, 2021. 

Marie was born in Boston's (North End) in 1938 and lived there until her family moved to Somerville in 1954. She graduated from Somerville High School in 1957 and shortly afterward started working at the First National Bank of Boston where she worked in various administrative positions for over 40 years until her retirement.
She was the daughter of the late Leo Greco originally of Italy and the late Mary (Ronzano) originally of Boston.
Beloved sister of the late Joseph Greco and his surviving wife Rose of Peabody. Beloved sister of the late Louise ( Chickie) Johns and late husband Johnny of Somerville.Beloved sister of the late Leonard(Chubby) Greco and late wife Catherine (Kay) of Peabody. Survived by her beloved brother Anthony and his late wife Valerie of Peabody. Survived by her beloved brother Robert and his wife Grace of Peabody.
She leaves behind many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews and great, great-nieces and nephews.
Over her life, she was able to do much traveling with friends and family. She enjoyed a trip to Italy many years ago and was on many cruises to the Caribbean with her brothers and their wives and some friends and many trips to Maine. (Too many to count)
Our family has had a cottage in Quincy since 1952 and she was able to spend many summers there over the years with family and friends. There were countless barbecues, clambakes, and parties there over the years.
 She was a very generous person giving to many religious charities over her lifetime.
