Margaret E. (Wilfong) Boyle

Margaret E. Boyle, 53, of Rowley, MA. Born in Fort Benning, Georgia, January 17, 1970. Youngest daughter of Lt. Col John F. Wilfong and Sandra L. Wilfong Memmolo (née Christiansen). A beautiful, extraordinary, loving soul, dearest mother of five incredible children, passed away February 28, 2023. A beacon of love, always cheerful and a joy to all who knew her. A smart, quick-minded storyteller of youthful adventures. A musical talent with a God-given melodic voice. A loving touch that warmed the heart.

Blessed with beauty and strength, Margaret was the Women’s Amateur Strongman National Champion in 2004, runner up in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Winning multiple Massachusetts state titles and many competitions in New York and New Jersey, she always had a beautiful smile while moving enormous weight, which really irritated her competition. Her real-world efforts of hard work were a wonderful example to her children and taught how perseverance leads to success.

A terrific mother who dedicated her life to her family, making every birthday and holiday special, doing all the prep work and travel to support both her children and other children on countless judo, wrestling, football, soccer and baseball competitions and games. A remarkable positive influence Margaret had on her family and those near and dear to her. Oh, and cannot leave out her unique problem-solving ability, fixing all things that break.

Words cannot describe her importance. She can never be replaced, but we can fill our hearts with the beautiful memories of her and the bottomless love she had for all of us.

Margaret is survived by husband Mark, sons Mark, Luke and John, daughters Julia and Andrea, and mother-in-law Audrey Boyle. Margaret also leaves behind her stepfather Ralph Memmolo of Andover; two sisters: Lynne Pina of Medford and Laurie Leone of Middleton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
