Lucille was born in Salem to Louis and Odile Pelletier. She was married to John Silva in 1947 and celebrated 63 anniversaries until his death in 2015.
Pool season at Lucille's was the place to be. She welcomed everyone and treated them like family. She was very industrious; she enjoyed sewing and knitting but would not hesitate to tile a floor or wallpaper a room. She was also adventurous and fearless; rollercoaster riding with her grandchildren and flying in an Ultra-Lite plane well into her seventies to name a few. Having ice cream sundaes with her grandchildren was another favorite thing to do. She was fun to be around and had a great sense of humor. She took many motorhome camping trips, one for nine months going cross country. When she was younger she was a girl scout leader and devoted a lot of time helping the nuns at Saint Stanislaus in Ipswich. After retirement, she and John moved to Winter Haven, FL and spent many years there returning to the Northshore in 2012.
She leaves behind her 5 children Richard Silva and his wife Andrea of West Newfield, ME, Marsha Harmony of Winter Haven, FL, Janet Gallagher and her husband Bob of Beverly, MA, Judy Miles and her husband Jim of Beverly, MA, Terri Sheppard and her partner Joey Hines of Danvers, MA. Her grandchildren Christopher Silva, Paxton Silva, Jen Miles, Joe Miles, Ariel Woods and Kali Sheppard. Her great-grandchildren Nathan Silva, Noah Silva, Isla Miles, Max Miles and Skyler Hannigan.
