Lucilia Ann (Fernandes) Oulton, 90, of Peabody, MA passed away peacefully on June 15, 2022. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Lulu was born to the late Jose and Hilda (Neves Ribeiro) Fernandes on December 6, 1931, in Peabody MA. She was the fourth of five children. She grew up in Peabody and attended Peabody High School. She moved to Danvers in 1956 and remained there until 2020 when she returned to Peabody.
Lulu enjoyed her career as a social worker for the State of Massachusetts. She worked for many years in the Peabody Welfare Office and retired from the office in Salem. Once retired, she loved her part-time job at Brighton Gardens in Danvers.
Lulu’s favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family. Her daughter Lorrie DeDomenico and her husband Paul of North Port Florida. Her granddaughter Loren Osgood and her partner David Saulnier of Peabody MA. Mia-Ann Liani of Danvers MA. Her sister Lorraine Mihelis of Peabody MA. Her many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Lulu loved to travel. She took many trips with her sister Julia. They had many adventures including Hawaii and Europe. Her favorite was the trip to Portugal to visit relatives with her sister and mother. She also took many trips with friends to the Cape.
Lulu was pre-deceased by her brother Americo Fernandes, her sister Julia Eaton, her brother Anibal Fernandes aka Joseph Fern, her son-in-law Joseph Liani, her brother-in-law Arthur Mihelis and a nephew Steven McCarran.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Tuesday morning from 10am-11am at Mackey Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St., rt. 114, Middleton, MA. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
