Kathryn M. ("Katie") Ambrose

Kathryn M Ambrose, passed away at home on March 23, 2025. Kate was born on February 16, 1947 in Peabody to the late John and Florence (Hennessey) Ambrose. She lived in Danvers her whole life and was a graduate of Danvers High School, Class of 1966. She worked over the years at Jordan Marsh in the employee kitchen and Hunt Nursing & Rehab Center as an activities aide. She also spent several years devoted to caring for her mother, Flo, prior to her death. Although an only child, she had a large extended family and enjoyed nothing more than a family gathering. Each one of us has a Kate story that we will cherish and her presence will be missed when we get together. 

She was a lifelong parishioner at St Mary of the Annunciation where she was a daily communicant. She belonged to The Catholic Daughters of America and was a Eucharistic Minister. She had also been a member of their Sodality. 

Kate is survived by many cousins, several good friends and neighbors and her dear friend, Linda Perrino. She was predeceased by her lifelong friend, Sister Mary Ryan.

An 11am funeral Mass will be held at St Mary of the Annunciation on Monday, April 21, 2025. There will be a visitation from 10-11 at the church prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at Annunciation Cemetery in Danvers.
