Judith A. Colosi, 82, of Middleton, MA formerly of Tucson Arizona, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was pre-deceased by her longtime companion, Roy King.
Judith was born in Medford, MA on April 18, 1941 and was the daughter of Charles Harmon and Mary (Pollino) Harmon. Judith is survived by her brother Richard Harmon of Arizona and Fran Hillis of Texas. Pre-deceased by her brother Charles Harmon and Peter Harmon.
Judith went to school and graduated in Medford, MA and went on to graduate from North Shore Community College and Salem State with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She spent most of her career working at Winthrop Hospital and Lynn Union as a social worker and was dedicated to helping those in need.
Judith loved spending time at the Middleton Senior Center and going out to lunch with her “lunch bunch”. In her younger days, she enjoyed being very active and trying different things like white water rafting, hang gliding and even participating on a woman’s soft ball team. She also loved to travel and backpacked her way through Europe.
Judith is survived by her son, Philip A. Colosi and his wife Joanne, her grandson James Colosi and his girlfriend Jenny Perkins of Middleton; and her granddaughter Jennifer Colosi and her fiancé Michael McCarthy of Middleton and her great granddaughter, Krystal Harlow-Powell of Middleton. She is also survived by her daughter, Doreen Pasquale and her husband William Pasquale of Peabody and her grandsons Michael Quinlan and his wife Laura of Peabody and Matthew Quinlan and his wife Meaghan of Peabody.
The family will be celebrating Judith’s life with a private graveside service.
