John Patrick Shea

John Shea, known as Jackie to his family and Sammy to his friends, passed away peacefully on June 28th, 2022. He grew up in greater Boston and was the son of the late Patrick and Mary (neé English) Shea.

He attended St. Columbkille High School in Brighton, MA, and Northeastern University before beginning his career in banking. He worked at several Boston banks including Bank of New England, Bank of Boston, Fleet Bank and Eastern Bank.

He was an avid golfer and Boston sports fan.

He is survived by his daughter, Kate Shea of Beverly, MA; his son Patrick Shea of Danvers, MA; his sister Mary and brother-in-law Brian Day of Holliston, MA; and many loved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Visitation on Tuesday from 5-7pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9 am at St. Richard Parish, Forest St. Danvers.
