Joanne Berry, 84 of Beverly, MA, passed away peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House on November 2 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of James and Jesse DiVincenzo of Beverly, MA and a longtime resident of Beverly who graduated from Beverly High School class of 1954. In addition to raising her 5 children, Joanne worked as a teacher’s aide, in medical billing, and as the Assistant to the President of North Shore Community College. Joanne enjoyed spending time with family, especially on holidays, and summers at the family home at Lake Shore Park on Lake Winnipesaukee, NH. Joanne also enjoyed attending sporting events of her children and grandchildren, but football was her favorite sport to follow. Along with her extended family, she also enjoyed outings with her large group of friends. Joanne was a volunteer for many years at the Beverly Senior Center. She was an avid reader of books and loved to knit items for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In addition to her husband Bob, she is survived by her brother Anthony DiVincenzo and his wife Georgie, son Robert J. Berry and his wife Wendy, daughter Julie Berry and her companion Mark Geremia, son Michael Berry and his wife Revae Stuart, son Peter Berry and his wife Deanna, and daughter Christine Berry, along with 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff on Johnson 3 at Beverly Hospital, the Lahey home health care staff, as well as the staff at Kaplan Family Hospice House.

Visiting hours will be held at Mackey Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St., Route 114, Middleton, MA 01949 on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 1 pm to 3 pm.
