With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mom and Nanna, Joan, on July 20th, surrounded by her family.
Joan’s warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her. A devoted mother and cherished Nanna, she found joy in family, laughter, and simple moments. She dedicated her life to nurturing those around her and created memories that will be treasured forever. An avid lover of nature, Joan enjoyed long walks with friends, tending to her plants, and relaxing by the beach, listening to the waves. Her deep faith guided her through both joyful and difficult times, and she shared that strength with those around her.She found peace and inspiration in the beauty of Vermont and New Hampshire. Joan especially loved time with her grandchildren—baking, boating, crafting, or simply sitting and talking about how proud she was of them. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents Irene Stankiewicz and Theadore Dembkoski, and her sister Patti Plourde.
She is survived by her children Chris Pelletier, Stephanie Dembkoski, and Laura (Dembkoski) Beauregard and husband Chad Beauregard; her grandchildren Bryson beauregard, Isabella beauregard, and Victoria beauregard ,her siblings John Dembkoski, Brenda Dunning, Debbie Robinson, Linda Roy, and Cathy Khelstrup; and many nieces and nephews.
Joan's life was a living example of her faith-filled, gentle, and loving nature. She approached every challenge with grace and every triumph with humility. Her legacy is not only in the work she accomplished and the family she raised but also in the countless moments of joy and comfort she provided to those in her presence.Joan will live forever in our hearts if she could leave us with one message it would be this : have faith.
