Jeno Renner Obituary

Jeno Renner, 93, of Middleton, peacefully passed away on January 30th surrounded by loved ones, after a brief battle with lung cancer.

Jeno was born on December 20th, 1928 to parents Mihaly and Anna in the small town of Papasalamon, Hungary. After Jeno graduated from trade school in Hungary, he pursued a career as a meat cutter. Immigrating to the United States in 1957 following the Hungarian Revolution, he worked for Star Markets for over 25 years.

In 1963, he married his beloved wife Louise at St. Luke's Methodist Church in Lynn. Jeno and Louise went on to have two children, Michael and Janine.

Jeno retired in 1986 and finally had time to pursue his love of card-playing, gardening and the great outdoors.

Jeno was predeceased by his parents, brothers Bela and Lajos and sisters Terezia and Anna. He is survived by sisters Marika, Rozalia and Elizabeth, his wife and children, their spouses Patricia Renner and Jim Lamanna, and three grandchildren, Samuel Skinner, Elizabeth Renner and Marika Renner.

VISITATION will be held at Mackey Funeral Home on February 6th from 12-2 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society. ( see the link below).

Please Note: Due to Covid Concerns, A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Spring, at a Time to Be Announced.
