Jeffrey M. Jalbert, known fondly as Jeff by his friends and family, passed away on August 22, 2023 in Lawrence, MA. Born on July 7, 1971 in Danvers, MA, Jeff's life was marked by his kindness, passion, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.
Jeff grew up in Danvers, where he was a beloved son to his mother, Linda Chambers, and his father and stepmother, Ronald and Pam Jalbert. He shared a special bond with his siblings, Steven Jalbert and Jennifer Lugo, and was a cherished nephew to his Uncle Michael Rizzotti. Jeff was also a devoted husband to his wife, Denise Jalbert, with whom he created a lifetime of joyful memories. He was predeceased by his son, Sebastian Jalbert, who was always in his thoughts and heart.
A proud graduate of Salem High School, Jeff's dedication to learning and personal growth was evident in all aspects of his life. His work as a Funeral Assistant allowed him to serve his community in meaningful and impactful ways. His compassionate demeanor and respectful nature made him a pillar of support for many families during their most challenging times.
Jeff had a wide range of interests that added joy and fulfillment to his life. He was an avid cook, always looking for new recipes to try and share with his loved ones. His passion for soccer, whether playing or watching, was infectious, and he was known for his spirited cheers during games. Jeff also had a deep love for music, often seen with headphones in, lost in the melodies that brought him peace and happiness.
In addition to these interests, Jeff was an enthusiastic collector of coins, always on the lookout for unique pieces to add to his collection. He also enjoyed the friendly competition of candlepin bowling, and was a formidable opponent in pool, always ready for a friendly game with family and friends.
Jeff's grandparents, Tom and Helen Jalbert, and Orlando and Louise Rizzotti, predeceased him. Their influence on Jeff's life was profound, and their values and teachings continue to live on through him.
Jeff's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him. His warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed. Despite the pain of his loss, we find comfort in the memories we shared with him, the laughter we enjoyed, and the love we felt in his presence. His spirit will continue to inspire us, and his memory will forever be a beacon of hope and love in our lives.
Jeffrey M. Jalbert, a man of great character, immense love, and enduring legacy, may have departed from this world, but his spirit continues to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
