Jean Loretta (Kuell) Gage, 91, of Middleton, passed away peacefully at Masconomet Healthcare in Topsfield on Saturday, Jan 2, 2021.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years Norman F Gage (2010), her sister Virginia (2001), her sister Barbara (2019), her brother James Jr. (2000), and her youngest daughter Diane (2016).
Jean is survived by her daughter Karen Mc Askill and husband Steve, and her son Ronald and his wife Denise. Also many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.
Jean was born in Salem MA on June 11, 1929, to James and Myrtle (Wyman) Kuell. She was the eldest of 4 children and was raised in Middleton MA. She attended Danvers High School class of 1947.
Jean had many interests including knitting, gardening and all types of crafts, reading, traveling and most of all, loved to go camping. At pot lucks she was always asked to bring her famous baked beans. She loved to dance and could be found with her sisters most Saturday nights at the Legion Hall in Middleton, where they loved to enjoy each other's company and dance the night away.
Her quick wit and feisty personality will be missed by all who knew her.
