James (Jim) Gagnon, 62, of Danvers, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2024. A man of many talents and boundless curiosity, Jim will be remembered for his generosity, his love of classic film, and a deep passion for music and guitar playing.
Jim’s academic achievements were a testament to his intellectual drive. He held a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from University of Massachusetts Amherst and another in Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. In addition Jim was incredibly well read, amassing a collection of thousands of books ranging in topic from boatbuilding to world history, to science fiction, and beyond.
Jim is survived by a loving partner, a sister, four nephews, and countless more family and friends across the North Shore. In lieu of flowers or donations please remember to enjoy your life, for life is short. Dust off that old guitar, pick up that book you’ve been meaning to read, tackle that creative project you’ve been putting off, and most of all be generous and kind to one another.
