Gregory M. Strojny, 76, a lifelong resident of Danvers, MA died July 23, 2020 at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, MA.
He leaves his wife of 43 years, Suzanne (Ingalls) Strojny; daughters, Laura Sard & Jean Ellen Rici, three grandchildren; William Gregory Sard and his wife Jessica, Christina Marie Sard and Sydney Marie Emond one great-grandson; Gavin Gabriel, sisters; Carol Orechia, Barbara Collins and Michelle McGinness and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Gregory was born and raised in Danvers, the son of the late Ferdynand and Marie (Keiley) Strojny.
After graduating from High School in 1961, he entered the US Air Force where he received the rank of Airman Second Class. After being honorably discharged, Mr. Strojny worked in the airline industry retiring from U.S. Airways after more than thirty years of service.
He was a member of the Hamilton Rod and Gun Club, American Legion, VFW Post 2359 where he served as Quartermaster, Veterans Affairs Agent and as Past Commander from 2001-2006.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug 12th from 11 am -1 pm at the Mackey Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St., Rt. 114, Middleton MA.
