Gertrude M. (Sheehan) Lind

Gertrude M. Lind, 81 years old, of Middleton, MA passed away on May 28th after a long period of declining health.  Trudy was born and educated in Malden, MA, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Sheehan.   She graduated from Girls Catholic in Malden Class of 1962 and married the love of her life Robert “Bobby” Lind.    Always the happy homemaker, Trudy loved to travel and read but her greatest joy came from being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Trudy will be deeply missed by her husband of 60 years, Robert Lind, her daughter Denise Bugler of Georgetown, MA and her son Paul Lind and wife Lisa of Londonderry, NH. She was the cherished grandmother to Andrew Bugler, Luke Bugler, Thomas Bugler, Emily (Lind) Jensen and husband Thomas, Kate Lind and her fiancé Jon Morales, Paul Lind, Jr. and wife Rachel, great grandmother to Tommy Jensen and aunt to many nieces and nephews.   She was the dear sister to her predeceased siblings Dennis Sheehan, Mary Louise Sullivan, and John “Jack” Sheehan and predeceased sister’s in-law Ruth Vona and Marie Worcester.   Over the course of her life Trudy had been employed as a secretary at General Electric and a payroll clerk at Saucony.

Relatives and friends are invited to her calling hours on Thursday June 5th from 4-7pm at Mackey Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St. Middleton, MA. Her Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday June 6th at 10:30 am at St. Agnes Church, 22 Boston St. Middleton. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
