George E. Everson, Jr. 87, of Georgetown passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday December 20 at his home. George was born in Lawrence, MA and was the only son of the late George E. Everson, Sr. and Ethel (Baskerville) Everson.
George was raised and educated in North Andover. In High School he was an accomplished musician and played Baritone Horn in the All-State Orchestra.
During his working life he was a man of many hats, with employment including Longbottom’s Market in No. Andover, Manzi Dodge, Glennies Dairy, and Lawrence General Hospital, and after moving to Florida, building yacht interiors, managing 2 restaurants and becoming an LPN, ultimately managing a busy Orthopedic surgeon’s practice in Largo, FL
George is survived by his sons, Thomas A. Everson and his wife Pauline of Haverhill, and Dean E. Everson of Bradford, MA. He is also survived by his grandchildren Thomas G. Everson and his wife Katie of St. Petersburg, FL and their son Otto and his granddaughter Hannah D. Everson of Salem, NH.
George loved to work on cars and do woodworking. His favorite place was Plum Island.
