Francis P. Randall, 77, of Lynnfield, MA passed away peacefully on Thursday September 30, 2021 at Rosewood Nursing Center in Peabody. Frank was the son of the late Walter and Ethel (Buckley) Randall.
Frank was born and raised in Revere. He graduated from Revere High in 1961. As a child Frank loved spending time at his dad’s work at the Boston Garden. In his teens he became employed there himself. He worked in the Celtics locker room and the Bruins alumni room until the age of 72. He enjoyed his many years at the Garden so much that he often referred to it as his hobby. Before the Garden he had fond memories of working as a vendor at Fenway Park in his teens for a short time.
In addition to his work at the Garden, Frank began working for the MBTA after graduating high school. He worked for the MBTA for 30 years until retirement. After that he took a job with the MDC where he worked for several years.
Frank was not only a dedicated worker but a loving husband and devoted family man. In 1982 he met his wife Judy while she was working at the Kowloon Restaurant. They married in 1986 and together they raised their daughter Rachael and three grandchildren. The family called him Papa. Frank was actively involved in all the children’s lives. He was always there for all games, events, and milestones. He had a close relationship with his great grandchildren as well.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Judith B. (Anderson) Randall of Lynnfield his daughter Rachael Anderson of Danvers, 3 grandchildren Nicole Anderson of Wells, ME, Justin Anderson of Danvers and Jordan Sawyer of Danvers and his 2 Great grandchildren Lainey & Clara of Wells, ME. Frank also leaves his brother Walter Randall of North Carolina.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours of Tuesday October 5, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm at Mackey Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St. (Rte. 114) Middleton, MA. His Funeral Service will take place Wednesday at 10 am at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery Lynnfield, MA.
