Emilio M. Indresano was called to Heaven on December 8, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on September 29, 1954, Emilio was a man whose warm spirit and generous heart touched the lives of all who knew him. It is with both sorrow and gratitude that we celebrate him and mourn his loss.
The son of a loving family, Emilio grew up in Wellesley, where he learned to find joy in the simple things. His journey through life was shared with his fiancée, Yvonne Fitzgerald, who stood by him as a beacon of love and companionship. Emilio was a beloved brother to Ernie and his wife, Renee, as well as to Michael and his wife, Millie. His role as an uncle to Isabel, Natalia, and Michael was one he embraced with pride, instilling in them values of kindness, faith, and perseverance.
Emilio's professional life was spent as a gifted hairdresser, his skilled touch and attentive nature made him not only a stylist but a confidant to many. Early in his career, he opened his own salon, building a business where customers walked in as clients and left as friends. His hard work and trailblazing creativity brought his talents to the national stage, styling contestants for the Miss America Beauty Pageant. Most fulfilling of all were his days spent volunteering in his community, providing free haircuts to folks at his local nursing home. For decades, Emilio devoted his life to making people feel beautiful, inside and out.
Emilio's interests were as diverse as his talents. He had a passion for music and enjoyed sharing that passion with others. As most New Englanders do, he had an unwavering loyalty to his favorite sports teams, and Emilio would never miss a weekend cheering them on. Emilio’s most cherished memories were made at the dining table, enjoying an Italian Sunday dinner with his family.
Emilio's walk with God was not confined to the walls of a church but was evident in his daily interactions and the way he lived his life with integrity and purpose. As we bid farewell, we are reminded of the words of Matthew 5:16, "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
Though we are heartbroken by his passing, we take solace in knowing that Emilio is now at peace with his mother, Natalia, and his father, Ernie Sr. His legacy will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him, and we are comforted by the promise of a reunion in God's perfect timing.
Family & Friends are kindly invited to his Funeral Mass which will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 am in St. Agnes, Parish, Boston St., Middleton MA -( see below)
