Ellen L. (Sampson) Sapienza

Ellen Louise Sapienza of Peabody MA passed away peacefully with loving family by her side on Tuesday evening November 29,2022 Born in Everett MA to parents Arthur F. Sampson and Marguerite (Jacobs) Sampson on September 2, 1940, Ellen grew up in Everett and attended the Everett Public Schools

Ellen was happiest spending time with her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her and loved her. She spent the last nearly 60 years building a life with her family in Peabody, Ma. With great sadness Ellen leaves behind her husband Americo Sapienza of Peabody with whom she would have celebrated her 60th wedding anniversary this coming Valentine’s Day. She also is survived by her loving children; Richard and his wife Lynette (Hart) of Apex, NC, David and his wife Patricia (McCarthy) Sapienza of North Andover, MA, Susan (Sapienza) Pierce and her husband Michael Pierce of Wenham, MA, Kenneth and his wife Suzanne (Babb) of Georgetown, MA, her grandchildren, Kaylie, Julia, Lauren, Courtney, Matthew, Chloe and Richard, and is predeceased by her beloved granddaughter Natalie. She is also survived by her sisters Margaret White of Saco, ME and Lorraine Mackinnon and husband Paul of Hudson, OH, as well as her beloved nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will take place Tuesday 12/6 from 4:00 to 7:00p.m. at Mackey Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St. Middleton, Ma. Ellen’s funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of the Assumption, 17 Grove St. Lynnfield, MA on Wednesday 12/7 at 10:00 am, all are asked to meet directly at the church.
