Elizabeth Wright

Elizabeth Wright, known as “Beth” by friends and family, passed away the evening of June 15th, 2026 at her home in Middleton surrounded by loved ones.

Beth’s life was marked by deep relationships and an unwavering kindness that she extended to everyone she met. In addition to being incredibly intelligent, she had an unmatched wit to her humor, a huge heart, and a rich relationship with Christ. As a licensed Social Worker who specialized in elder services and end of life care, Beth truly believed “we’re all just walking each other home.” - Ram Dass

Her spirit will live on through her husband Tim Houten of Middleton; her daughters, Shawn Houten of Chelsea, Kelly Houten and her husband Eric Wong of Quincy; and her brothers Bill Wright of Conway and Brian Wright of Ipswich. 

At her request, no formal wake or funeral will take place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
