Edward J. "Gizzy" Geissler

Edward “Gizzy” Geissler, 85, of Peabody, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 14, 2021 at home with his family by his side. “Gizzy” was born in Boston on July 13, 1935 and was the son of the late Edward and Mary ( Mooney) Geissler.

He served in the United States Marine Corp. during the Korean Conflict and married the love of his life Suzanne (Lochiatto) Geissler on November 22, 1961 and they settled in Peabody where they raised their 4 children.

He was a musician for many years and also worked at Boston Housing Authority.                

He is survived by his 4 loving children Lynne, Eddie and his wife Michelle, Mark and his wife Shari and Michael and his wife Krista, his eight grandchildren Cassandra, Jaclyn, Lauren, Nicholas, Jimmy, Patrick, Emma, and Michael, and his three great-grandchildren Jayden Layla, and Avary.  Edward “Gizzy” will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
