Doreen M. (Thompson) Charland

Doreen Marie (Thompson) Charland- age 78 of North Andover formerly from Beverly passed away peacefully Monday, Aug 17, 2020 after many years of Health challenges at the Kaplan Family Hospice House.

Doreen met the love of her life, Raymond, at Beverly High School in 1958. They spent 62 wonderful years together, 59 of them married. She loved to take cruises to the Caribbean Islands. On one of their many cruises, they stopped in Cancun, Mexico, they loved it so much they purchased timesharing. They spent many years vacationing there with family and friends. Cancun was her happy place. She was a stay at home mom, and nothing pleased her more. She loved to cook, and would often cook all the traditional Italian dishes her mother taught her from family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband Raymond. Her Children Robert and his wife Kerri from Salem MA, Suzanne Gamble and her husband James from North Andover, Lisa Trudeau from North Andover, Michael and his wife Jenni from Palmer Alaska. 6 Grandchildren Erica, Brent, Matthew, Rory, Maxwell and Shannon. Sister Judith Wagar from Haverhill and Niece Diane Vadala and her Husband Donnie from Lowell. She was preceded in death by her oldest son Stephen, brothers Ralph DiFazio, Albert DiFazio Jr.
