Daniel Kosta, a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, partner, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2024, in Middleton, MA. Dan's infectious laughter and gentle spirit graced this world for 24 years. Known for his quick wit and loving nature, he left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Daniel was the beloved son of John Kosta and Tamara Gauvain. He grew up surrounded by a close-knit family, including his grandparents, John and Virginia Mihalakakis, Patricia and Craig Jacobson, his siblings John, Demetri, John "Kosta", Matthew, Joshua, Stephen, Mark, David, and his cherished sister, Lydia. Daniel's life was enriched by his loving relationship with his girlfriend, Grace Dewling, and his supportive aunts and uncle, Litsa Mihalakakis, Ann Hargraves and Michael Plump. He graduated from Masconomet Regional High School and earned his real estate and loan originators license in 2022.
Dan enjoyed traveling to Maine in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, and was a fitness enthusiast. Dan was a foodie who did not enjoy cooking; however, he was a wonderful tester and would make you feel as though every meal was your best. He had a sweet tooth and would sometimes be seen sneaking to the kitchen to find some late-night snacks and candy.
Dan’s faith was his way of life. He was involved in the Christian community through Great Rock Church and participated in the young adult group to connect with fellow Christian peers. He enjoyed reading the Bible and books on theology.
Dan had an ability to brighten any room. He embodied great kindness and was known for his hard work, determination, and charismatic attitude. He accepted everyone with open arms, an open heart, and a radiant smile, bringing joy to the people closest to him.
Dan's legacy is one of love and laughter, and his spirit will live on in the countless memories he created with those he loved. As we say goodbye to Daniel Kosta, we celebrate the joy he brought into our lives and the gentle impressions he left on our hearts. We will hold dear the moments we shared, the laughter we enjoyed, and the love he spread so freely. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were touched by his generous heart.
Those who knew Daniel will remember him as a funny, loving, and gentle soul. His story ended far too early, but the chapters he wrote in our lives will be cherished forever.
