Unfortunately God has chosen to take one of his bravest and strongest fighters! Dale died after a very brave fight of a rare blood cancer. Those who know him knew this wasn’t his first battle for life he also fought bravely for many years 22 years ago waiting for a liver. And just like last time he never lost hope and really thought he could beat this beast as well and never stopped trying all for us the family he adored! He also fought one other brave fight that he rarely spoke about. He was in the army during Vietnam as a master map reader, but, unfortunately became a wounded vet after a serious Jeep crash, unfortunately that accident started his road to his illnesses. However he always preferred to live in the now and enjoy life as best he could which to him meant being wth his family as much as possible, he loving wife Carol who he got to spend 47 years with and who was by his side taking care of him every stem of the way even during his last breath! His children that he loves so much, William (Billy) and his wife Cindy, Machelle and her husband Matt who was like a second son to him and his step daughters Kim, and Cheryl and her husband David. And of course his pride and joy his grandchildren, Paul(his best buddy!), Lilia, Kaylee, Jack, Carolyn, Natasha, Nathan, Phylicia, Jessica , Ashley and Eric Jr. and his great grandchildren Prestyn, Ian, Eli and Ethan.
When we wasn’t do his favorite thing which was spending time with his family his other favorite past time was to go fishing with his best friend Bob! We are all going to miss him so much and life will just never be the same, but, he wouldn’t want us all so upset and he Wallis want us to be safe safe, so to honor and celebrate his zest for life we will be having a private celebration of life on what would have been his 67th Birthday.
Unfortunately due to COVID we will have to keep it just family, I do apologize, but you can be included via FaceTime or zoom of course.
And please in lieu of flowers it would be really great if you could make a donation to
The Bone Marrow And Cancer Foundation
Thank you so much
