Chester S. Brown

Son of Chester E. Brown, and Barbara M. (Bryant) Brown

Survived by his wife of 55 years Janet A. (Helinski) Brown. His son’s Bryant “Scott” and Kim of Andover Ma., Jeffrey of ST. Maximin la Ste Baume-France, Gerard and Mary of Deering NH, his stepson Richard Campana and Debbie of Hamilton, Ma., stepdaughter Lynn Torrey and Scott of Peabody, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Chet was pre-deceased by his parents, sister Sandra McLean, and his stepson, David Campana.
Chet (Gus) was born in Lynn, Ma, but grew up in Middleton Ma.
After graduating from Holden High School he enlisted in the US Air Force and was stationed in Mississippi. His assignments were a small island in the Sea of Japan, and the shore of Lake Michigan in Empire Michigan.
After his discharge from the military Chet attended the Devry Institute of Technology and North Shore Community College.
He worked at EG&G in Salem Ma, Met Life, and lastly served 25 years as a loss control inspector for the Mutual Fire Insurance Agency Company.
Chet had many hobbies and interests. He loved traveling with Janet in their RV, boating, and fishing at his lake side home in Maine, Model Railroading with whom he was a long time member of the Bristol S. Gauge Railroaders, and fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming a licensed pilot.

Visitation will be at Mackey Funeral Home 128 S. Main St. Middleton Ma on August 31st from 1-3m.
