Charles Adamopoulos Obituary

Charles A. Adamopoulos, 90, son of Anthony & Virginia (Argyrakis) Adamopoulos born February 24, 1923, in Dover, New Hampshire. passed away at the Kaplan Hospice House . He was a decorated Navy veteran during WWII and received Medals for serving in the American Theatre Campaign, WWII Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign, Phillipine Liberation Medal and the BronzeStar. After his Military service he was a bartender at several restaraunt's on the North Shore he later became a horse trainer at race tracks throughout New England & Florida. He is survived by his brother Socrates and his wife Anna of Lynn, Peter and his wife Virginia of California and a sister in-law Despina Adamopoulos of Groveland . He was the brother of the late Arthur Adamopoulos and Ernest Adamopoulos who passed away on April 7, 2013. He leaves many nieces and nephews. He was a long time companion of the late Lillian Burnett.
