She was born on December 9, 1956, in Boston, MA, to parents William and Evelina Roberts. Known for her kindness, love, and humor, Carol was a beacon of light to all who knew her.
Carol was the beloved sister of Ed, Jim, Bill, Joe, Wally, Donna Fabrizio, and half-sister Gail Friend. She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Roberts-Boyer. A devoted aunt, Carol had a special place in her heart for all her nieces and nephews. Her niece, Alison, whom she often referred to as "my very own nurse," provided comfort and care throughout her battle with chronic illnesses.
A proud graduate of Saugus High School, Class of 1974, Carol carried the values of community and service throughout her life. She was an exceptional caregiver to those she loved, always putting their needs above her own. Her selfless nature and nurturing spirit were evident in the love and care she provided to her family.
Carol's interests were simple, yet filled with profound joy. She found peace and tranquility by the ocean and loved camping under the stars. But above all, Carol's greatest joy was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, believing that family was everything.
Carol's kindness was the heart of her character. She had a natural ability to make others feel loved, valued, and special. Her laughter was infectious, lighting up a room and bringing joy to those around her.
