Carol Lois Conley, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2023, in Boston, Massachusetts, due to complications from a stroke. Born on June 19, 1942, in Arlington, Massachusetts, Carol was a compassionate and dedicated woman who devoted her life to her family and her career.

Carol was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 40 years, Dale Conley. She is survived by her four children: Cheryl Fishelson and her husband David; Kimberly Conley; William Conley and his wife Cindy Pelletier; and Machelle Smith and her husband Matt. She was also a proud grandmother to Natasha White, Nathan White, Jessica Conley, Phylicia Fishelson, Carolyn Coulter, Paul Silva, Lilliah Silva, Kaylee Smith, and Jack Smith. Carol was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Prestyn and Paityn Fishelson. She will be fondly remembered by several distant relatives and friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity.

Carol graduated from Salem High School and went on to obtain several licenses and certificates in direct care, enabling her to provide care for disabled adults both in and out of state facilities. She was employed by the State of Massachusetts for over 20 years, where she was passionate about her work and dedicated to her patients. Carol's love for her job was evident as she enjoyed going to work every day, making a positive impact on the lives of those she cared for.

In her spare time, Carol had a penchant for antiquing and was a frequent visitor to Todd Farm. She also loved taking walks, no matter the location, and cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Carol's hobbies and interests showcased her creative and thoughtful nature.

Carol will be remembered for her sense of humor, her creativity, and her thoughtfulness. She was a pillar of strength for her family and a source of inspiration for all who knew her. Her legacy of love, dedication, and compassion will live on through the many lives she touched during her time on this earth.
