Carmen H. St. Arneault

On Wednesday, October 25th, Carmen H. St. Arneault passed away peacefully at home. He was the loving husband to the late Ann B. St. Arneault.

Carmen was born in Lynn, MA on September 16, 1942, to Henry and Josephine St. Arneault. He grew up in Salem, MA and lived there during his childhood. Carmen moved to Middleton, MA in 1977 with Ann and enjoyed 54 years together as a married couple.

A loving and devoted husband; father; grandfather; and great-grandfather, he was known as “Papa.” Carmen is survived by his daughter, Nadine R. Belisle and her husband, Ron, of North Reading. He is survived by his four grandchildren: Berton Lombard III and his partner, Jenna Giliberto; Amber Bobinsky and her husband, Erich; Kyle Raia; and Carmen St. Arneault and his fiancée, Ariel Cvetanovich. He is survived by his four great-grandchildren: Orion and Dylan Lombard; Eli and Ana Bobinsky. He is survived by his brother, Douglas St. Arneault. He was predeceased by his son, Michael St. Arneault, and his sister, Paula Velardo.

Carmen was a self-taught mason and worked with his hands his entire life. He was an honest, hardworking man, who had many friends. If you were a friend of Carmen’s, you were a friend for life.
In later years, Carmen enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson trike with Ann. One of his last trips was to Sturgis in 2017. Carmen was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and camp.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday, November 1 from 10:30am to 1:00pm
at Mackey Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St. (Rt. 114), Middleton, MA. A service celebrating his life will.
follow at 1:00pm.
