Peabody--Carmella (Dolicio) Scola, 92, of Danvers died Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Care One Nursing Home in Peabody. She was the loving wife of the late Edward C. Scola.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agostina (Corso) Dolicio, Carmella was raised and educated in the West End of Boston and was a graduate of Girls High.
Carmella was happiest cooking, caring and spending time with her family. She was so proud and especially loved all of her grandchildren.
Carmella is survived by her two devoted children, John Scola of East Boston and his partner Patty Ciampa, Christine Pingaro and her husband Junior of Middleton, son-in-law Mike McNulty of Norwood, her beloved grandchildren Nico and Nino Pingaro, Gianna and Sonny Scola, Rob and Eddie McNulty, great-granddaughter Lexie McNulty, and her dear nephew Joe DiBona of Peabody. She was predeceased by her daughter Ann McNulty of Danvers.
Carmella, the matriarch of the family, her generous and kind soul will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.
A private service will be held at the Mackey Funeral Home, Middleton MA
